Peter Wilt is a legendary soccer executive known for building clubs and supporter culture from the ground up. His journey began with a love for the game sparked at a Chicago Sting match in 1981, leading to a career shaping American soccer. As the founding GM of the Chicago Fire, he blended fan-first decision-making with a deep understanding of the sport, pioneering supporter-driven club culture. Wilt has four U.S. Open Cup rings, with some of his fondest memories coming from recent underdog battles with Chicago House, a club he helped launch. Passionate about making soccer more accessible, he advocates for structural changes in youth development to ensure more kids can play regardless of financial barriers.
